Agreement Overview

By participating in the Commencal demo bike program, the undersigned participant (hereinafter referred to as “Rider”) acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this indemnity form. This document is designed to protect both Commencal and the Rider by clearly defining responsibilities related to liability and repairs.

1. Liability Release

Rider understands and acknowledges that mountain biking involves inherent risks and hazards. Commencal is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur during the use of demo bikes. Rider assumes full responsibility for their safety and the safety of others.

2. Assumption of Risks

Rider acknowledges the risks associated with riding a mountain bike, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and equipment failure. Rider voluntarily assumes all risks and responsibilities related to participation in the demo bike program.

3. Care and Maintenance

Rider agrees to use the demo bike in a responsible manner and follow all provided guidelines for care and maintenance. Any intentional damage or misuse of the demo bike may result in financial responsibility for repairs or replacement.

4. Reporting Damage

In the event of any damage to the demo bike during the demo period, Rider agrees to promptly report the damage to Commencal. Failure to report damage may result in additional charges for repairs.

5. Repair Costs

Rider is responsible for the cost of repairs resulting from any damage incurred during the demo period. Commencal will assess and communicate repair costs to the Rider before initiating any repairs.

6. Insurance

Commencal does not provide insurance coverage for personal injuries or property damage. Rider is encouraged to have their own insurance coverage that may extend to activities such as mountain biking.

7. Full Cooperation

Rider agrees to fully cooperate with Commencal in any investigation related to the circumstances of any damage or loss of the demo bike.

8. Agreement Acknowledgment

Rider acknowledges that they have read and fully understand the terms and conditions outlined in this indemnity form. Rider agrees to abide by these terms during the entire duration of the demo bike rental.

By ticking the box in the form, the Rider indicates their acceptance of the terms and conditions of this indemnity form.
