Booking and Payment

By booking a bike rental with Commencal, you agree to these terms and conditions.

All bookings must be made through our official website.

Payment is required at the time of booking.

We accept major credit cards for payment on Payfast and Payflex.

Rental Period

Rentals are available for a specified period, as selected during the booking process.

Late returns may incur additional charges.

Cancellation and Refund

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start time will receive a full refund.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start time.

Commencal reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

Equipment Rental

Commencal provides well-maintained bikes for rent.

Renters are responsible for inspecting the equipment and confirming its condition before use.

Any damage or issues with the equipment must be reported to Commencal immediately.

Liability

Renters are responsible for their own safety and are encouraged to use appropriate safety gear.

Commencal is not liable for any injury or damage incurred during the rental period.

Use of Equipment

The rented equipment is intended for personal use and may not be sublet or shared with others.

Age and Responsibility

Renters must be of legal age and are responsible for their own actions while using the equipment.

Pick-Up and Return

Renters must pick up and return the equipment at the specified location and time as indicated in the booking.

Late Return

Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

Maintenance and Repairs

Renters are responsible for maintaining the rented equipment during the rental period.

Should the renter damage anything on the bike during their renting period, the Renter will be responsible for costs incurred to fix the damage.

Privacy

Personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Modification of Booking

Changes to booking details can be made if requested in advance and subject to availability.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.

Termination

Commencal reserves the right to terminate any rental agreement at its discretion if the renter violates these terms and conditions.
